Where I linked to an article called 'THE FAT, THE BAD, THE UGLY' and posted it on a few blogs/websites that I frequent.
I was going to address each of the negative reactions that several people had about it, but after reading over the responses a couple of times I realized that a only very small percentage of responders did not address the topic of the post.
Instead they got their panties in a wad about the cartoons instead of what the post was about, and the topic wasn't cartoons. So since they were so far off topic, it doesn't make sense to waste my time addressing them. Their mindset is such that it wouldn't make any difference anyway.
Out of 2,179 total responses, only 19 did not get what the post was about. 17 of them seemed to be conservatives and 2 of them said they weren't. I recognized some of them.
Maybe if I post it as an anonymous email or articles that have very few facts or truths in them that might help since that seems to be the basis of most of their information about almost everything that they (right wing conservatives/teapartiers) post.
Or...Maybe they could go to an animal shelter and get a pet. They could name it Clue.
That way they would have one.
